In The USA, Women On Average Are Paid Only 78 Percent Of What Men Are Paid

In March 2015, the US Census Bureau and American Association of University Women revealed that among full-time, year-round workers, women are paid on average 78 percent as much as men.  The pay gap discrepancy between gender has not moved much in a decade.  New research compares men and women’s full-time wages in 342 professions.  Catherine Rampell at the Washington Post reports that among the 342 professions examined, women earn more than men in only nine of them.  See the two charts given at the full article at http://jobs.aol.com/articles/2015/03/24/charts-illustrate-gender-wage-gap/
